Bug Description
I updated to v2.1.15 and I'm having a lot of issues with memory all of the sudden. I also ran the native installer with claude install. One instance is now hogging 12.1G of RAM, which definitely did not happen before. Has anyone else had this issue?

I am also experiencing this after updating, using iTerm2 on MacOS, installed via Homebrew.
Same issue here. Absolutely unusable and now rolling back doesn't seem to fix it either.
Update: I discovered this was a corrupt session log causing the issue, somehow one of my session logs in ~/.claude/projects had gone to like 20 GB. Not sure how that's possible, either way it's definitely a bug!
Thanks for reporting. I would appreciate if you could share a heap dump.
@aiongg RE: 20GB session log, did you have a huge git diff, which may include binaries, from a large project?
Weird, I can't reproduce it now. At first I rebooted my PC and it was still an issue and hogging about 12G. Restarted claude just about 30mins ago to try and do a heap dump, and now it's running well below 1G
