[Bug] Memory leak in agent execution causes rapid RAM exhaustion
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Apr 11, 2026 by vikdotdev Closed Apr 11, 2026
Bug Description
For the past week I'm experiencing a horrific memory leak that fills my 32gb of ram in less than a minute. I think this happens when claude launches agents, but not sure (when I ask it to explore the codebase, review the code etc). This makes claude CLI basically unusable for me. Ran it in ghostty & in alacritty with same results.
