[Feature Request] Add interactive query mode between planning and doing for quick questions

Bug Description
It would be great if we had a middle-ground between planning and doing. Sometimes I just need to ask a question and need a short answer, but planning mode shows me the entire plan with my answer buried somewhere in there, and doing mode often says something like "oh, I overlooked that, let me get stuck in and write mode code".

My specific example here was over some default parameter value, I wanted to ask "are you sure we don't need to pass that in here?" and I couldn't get claude to answer it while in the current context without trying to write more code.
