[BUG] Claude Code launcher and settings incorrectly show "Claude Max" subscription status even though I did not complete the upgrade.

What's Wrong?

Claude Code displays "Claude Max" as my subscription, even though I never completed the upgrade purchase.

The subscription status appears to have been cached or set prematurely during the upgrade consideration flow, before the purchase was actually completed.

What Should Happen?

Claude Code should display my actual subscription tier (Claude Pro).

2. Decided not to proceed with the upgrade
3. Exited the upgrade flow
4. Launched Claude Code
5. Settings/launcher now incorrectly displays "Claude Max" subscription
