[BUG] Upgrade from 2.1.86 to 2.1.87 never works though 2.1.81->2.1.87 works, that is also a good workarround

What's Wrong?

The following screeshot is self explanatory:
I am at 2.1.86
claude update says that I am updated to 2.1.87
but claude --version, claude doctor continue to show that I am still on 2.1.86

What Should Happen?

claude --version should show 2.1.87
