What's Wrong?

Since I upgraded to the latest claude, it no longer shows that I'm approaching my weekly limits. Instead it now just cuts me off. I've been using this to warn me to slow down, and that allowed me to keep some in reserve for later. Now I'm just dead in the water for a few days until it resets.

I am on the top paid plan for a reason so expect better. You know how much I used, you have a whole supposedly AI system so has some smarts, but you can't figure out my usage or if I'm approaching them? You can't even show how much I've used in the status bar? this is pretty bad UX, or lack of attention to details

I'm assuming this is a business decisions to stay intentionally vague.

What Should Happen?

What I would expect to have is the old warning back stating I'm approaching my limit,

Better yet, show me a status bar that gives me a rough idea. My only other alternative is to have scripts parse the usage logs, count token use, and based on historical limits guess how far I am through. But then that's not what I'm paying this much for.
