What You Asked Claude to Do

I asked for a handover per session with a copyable continuation prompt and a decision card reflecting the evolution of intent and decisions. Archival was conditioned on reading the checkpoint first.

What Claude Actually Did

The assistant initially produced summary cards and an archiving workflow instead of the requested handovers. I selected an option whose archival action depended on first reading the checkpoint. The assistant executed that action before the prerequisite review happened. The session was later restored. The record does contain a user selection; this is not a claim that no archival choice was ever made.

Expected Behavior

Deliver the complete requested handover first. Preserve the condition attached to an archival selection and verify that it has been satisfied before execution. A selected conditional action is not an unconditional command.
