Problem

In the light theme, the greyed prompt suggestion (ghost text) shown in the empty input box after a reply
renders in the same black as the text I type. I can't tell a suggestion from my own input at a glance.

Environment

  • Claude Code 2.1.296
  • Windows 11 Pro (10.0.26300)
  • Terminal: PowerShell
  • Theme: custom theme, "base": "light"

What I tried

A custom theme in ~/.claude/themes/ overriding these documented tokens, each to a loud distinct colour:
inactive, suggestion, subtle, text.

The theme loaded: my typed text changed to the text colour. The ghost text stayed black, so none of
these four tokens controls it.

Request

Make the suggestion text colour themeable: either render it with the existing inactive token, or add a
dedicated token (e.g. promptSuggestion) to the documented override list. Default it to a muted grey in
the light theme.
