What happened: Across the day the agent stopped to report the obvious and checkpoint mid-task instead of finishing explicit orders end to end.
Impact on the user: Large amount of the user's time spent re-issuing orders.
Expected: complete, verified work on the first pass, without the user having to correct it.
Ask: please improve Claude / Claude Code so this failure mode stops recurring.
