Bug Description
your safety classifier is a fucking piece of shit, and claude is a fucking retard. The auto-mode safety check keeps blocking ordinary work on an engineering design task, and once it fires it stays on for the whole session. What the task is: a design challenge built on a simulator of a stirred water-in-oil-in-water emulsion, the same physics as making mayonnaise, dressings or encapsulated food ingredients. The design inputs are emulsifier amount, the emulsifier's water/oil balance, oil thickness and stirring level. Nothing hazardous is involved. What happens: as soon as the conversation gets into emulsifiers, surfactants or how they move through the oil, the auto-mode check blocks the next action. It says the block is "because of earlier conversation content, not the action itself" and that it "will keep firing for the rest of this conversation". It has blocked writing a plain text instructions file, a git push, an inbox edit, and even a directory listing. This has happened about 12 times on this one task since late September. Every time, the only fix is to switch modes or start over in a fresh session, which loses the working context. Separately, when this task runs on the evaluation platform, a few model runs per batch get stopped partway with a trust-and-safety block, on the same benign subject. Why it matters: it makes routine iteration on a legitimate engineering task slow and unreliable, and it forces us to talk around basic chemistry, for example using labels like "Q2" instead of plainly saying "surfactant migration rate". That makes the work harder to understand and easier to get wrong. What would help: please review the classifier's handling of everyday colloid and food chemistry (emulsions, surfactants, emulsifier migration), and give some way to clear a false block without throwing away the session.
