Product

Claude (the Claude app — scheduled tasks). Not the Claude Code CLI.

What happens

When a scheduled task runs in Claude, the new chat is titled "⚡ " + the task name.

  • Task name: 🐔 Run - Gantt chart┊AXLA 4th┊FY2026(R8) Ended 12/31
  • Chat title in the sidebar: ⚡ 🐔 Run - Gantt chart┊AXLA 4th┊FY2026(R8) Ended 12/31

The "⚡" prefix is always added, even when the task name already starts with its own emoji, so every scheduled chat shows two icons and my own naming convention breaks.

Expected

The chat title should match the task name exactly, or Claude should offer a setting (per task or global) to turn the "⚡" prefix off.

Why it matters

I sort and scan my sidebar by my own emoji prefixes (🐔 for scheduled runs). The forced "⚡" makes those titles harder to read, and renaming every run by hand defeats the purpose of a scheduled task.
