Claude in Chrome extension causes LastPass to not load

What's Wrong?

Related to https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/87685 which has been closed.

Confirming this is still reproducible with LastPass 4.156.0.

Environment:

• Claude in Chrome: 1.0.94
• LastPass: 4.156.0
• Chrome and Edge
• macOS

Specific trigger I'm seeing:

1. Claude in Chrome and LastPass both enabled, LastPass logged in and working.
2. Close all browser tabs without quitting the browser.
3. Open a new window. LastPass icon is gray and non-functional.

Setting Claude in Chrome's site access to "On click" does not prevent it. Disabling Claude in Chrome resolves it. Relaunching also restores LastPass. Also reported to LastPass support.

One other note... When I have Claude turned on in Chrome, even in Edge it has this same behavior even though Edge does not have Claude installed.

What Should Happen?

Having Claude in Chrome installed should not break LastPass.
