iOS app: no way to start a new local thread for a project — only existing threads or cloud sessions requiring a GitHub repo

On the Claude Code iOS app, I can resume existing local threads or start a new cloud thread (which requires connecting a GitHub repo), but there's no way to start a new local thread against a project already set up on my computer.
This makes sense architecturally for cloud sessions, but it means the only way to kick off new local work from my phone is to first start it on the desktop and pick it up via Remote Control — I can't originate it from iOS.
Feature request: allow starting a new local thread from the iOS app against a project already known to the desktop app, similar to how existing threads can be resumed.
