Problem Statement

In the VS Code extension, Cmd+L / claude-vscode.insertAtMention only works with editorTextFocus — it has no binding or code path for the integrated terminal. Selecting text in the terminal panel and pressing Cmd+L does nothing, because the command has no logic to read a terminal selection (confirmed by inspecting package.json in the installed extension — no terminal context-menu or terminal-selection contribution exists).

Cursor supports this: selecting terminal output and using the equivalent shortcut attaches it directly to the chat input, which is much faster than manual copy/paste for sharing build/test logs, stack traces, etc.

Request: add a terminal-focus variant of the "add selection to chat" command (or a terminal context-menu entry) that reads the active terminal's selected text and attaches it to the chat input, matching the existing editor-selection behavior.
