Desktop app: window won't drag from dead-center of title bar
Description
In the Claude desktop app (Windows), clicking and dragging the title bar to move the window frequently fails when I click at the very top, dead-center. I have to click and drag from an off-center spot on the title bar for the move to register.
This looks like a common Electron custom-title-bar issue: some element in the center of the title bar (e.g. a tab strip or session switcher) is likely marked as a "no-drag" region, so clicks there go to that UI element instead of being treated as a window drag, while the flanking areas remain properly draggable.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the Claude desktop app on Windows.
- Try to click-and-drag the title bar at the horizontal center, near the top, to move the window.
- Observe that the drag often does not initiate.
- Try the same click-and-drag slightly off-center (left or right of the center element).
- Observe that the drag now works normally.
Expected behavior
The full title bar (outside of actual interactive controls like buttons) should be draggable, including the center area, so the window can be moved by dragging from anywhere along an empty part of the title bar.
Environment
- OS: Windows 11 Pro
- App: Claude desktop app
