No way to suppress/hide file change diffs shown after edits

Description

After every file edit, Claude Code always displays a diff/change summary in the session. There is no setting, flag, or toggle to suppress or hide this output for users who prefer a cleaner conversation view.

Expected behavior

A config option (e.g. in settings.json or a /config toggle) to hide or collapse the per-edit diff summary.

Actual behavior

The diff is always shown with no opt-out.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Claude Code
2. Ask it to edit any file
3. The diff summary always appears — there is no way to prevent it
