[Bug] Agent Hangs with Blinking Grey Dot, Terminal Unresponsive

Question

**Bug Description**
Agents tend to get in a hung state with a a blinking grey dot.

Claude says This is a known UI
  synchronization issue where the agent completes its work but the terminal
   prompt doesn't update. The agents actually finished (notice "Done"
  status in your screenshot), but the shell is waiting for some output
  stream to close. This typically happens when background processes don't
  properly signal completion to the parent
