[BUG] Teleport command rejects a checkout from the feature branch repo
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
A session created in the cloud can't be teleported to the terminal because the teleport command appears to want the upstream repo checked out, not the fork which actually holds the work.
Cloud code session had two sources configured: esphome/esphome (primary) and clydebarrow/esphome (fork), per the task's branch requirements.
Work was pushed to claude/gifted-volta-tvbku7 on clydebarrow/esphome only (that's the container's only git remote, origin).
Running claude --teleport session_01CK9pNvTG7wUS5dXpzsWQkq from a clydebarrow/esphome checkout — the repo that actually has the branch — is rejected with "You must run ... from a checkout of esphome/esphome. This repo is clydebarrow/esphome," even though that repo (esphome/esphome) doesn't contain the feature branch.
The session ID for reference: session_01CK9pNvTG7wUS5dXpzsWQkq.
What Should Happen?
The teleport command should accept the origin repo being checked out since that's where the work is being done.
Error Messages/Logs
