What's Wrong?
Title: VS Code extension shows Pro plan instead of Max subscription
What should happen (Expected):
The Claude Code extension in Visual Studio Code should display my current subscription as Max, matching what is shown in my Claude app / claude.ai account.
What is happening (Actual):
The Claude Code extension in Visual Studio Code is displaying my subscription as Pro — which was my previous plan before I upgraded. My Claude app (claude.ai) correctly shows Max as my active subscription. The two are out of sync.
Steps to reproduce:
Open claude.ai / Claude app → account shows Max subscription.
Open Visual Studio Code → Claude Code extension → account/status shows Pro.
Environment:
Client: Claude Code extension for VS Code
OS: macOS (Darwin 25.3.0)
Account email: [vickybhardwaj38037@gmail.com](mailto:vickybhardwaj38037@gmail.com)
Additional notes:
Signing out and back in in VS Code did not resolve the discrepancy (adjust this line if you haven't actually tried it yet, or remove it if you have and it worked).
