Description

A "product feedback drafted" notification (generated by the internal SendFeedback mechanism from a prior session) remained visible on screen with no clear/obvious way for the user to dismiss it. The draft itself is only queued locally and never sent without explicit approval, but the persistent on-screen indicator caused confusion and frustration, since there was no in-conversation tool available to clear it.

Steps to reproduce

  1. In a Claude Code session, trigger an internal feedback draft (e.g. via a flow that calls the feedback-drafting mechanism).
  2. Start a new session (after /clear) or return later.
  3. Observe that the "product feedback drafted" indicator/notification is still showing, with no obvious UI affordance to dismiss/discard it.

Expected behavior

The user should have a clear, discoverable way to view and dismiss/discard a pending feedback draft directly from the UI.

Actual behavior

The notification persisted with no clear dismiss action, and the assistant itself has no tool to clear it from the conversation side.

Environment

  • Claude Code CLI, Linux
