Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
The Claude iOS app shows "A repository must be selected to start a session" even after GitHub is connected with "All repositories" access confirmed in GitHub settings. This worked before and stopped without any change on my end.
What Should Happen?
The app should recognize the linked repository and allow starting a session, as it did before.
Error Messages/Logs
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Claude iOS app
- Go to Code tab
- GitHub already connected, "All repositories" access confirmed in GitHub settings
- Try to start new session
- Error appears: "A repository must be selected to start a session"
- Re-saving GitHub permissions does not fix it
Claude Model
None
Is this a regression?
Yes, this worked in a previous version
Last Working Version

Additional Information
This is on the Claude mobile app (iOS), not Claude Code CLI. GitHub repository permissions are correctly set to "All repositories" but the app doesn't detect this and shows "A repository must be selected to start a session".
