[BUG] remote-control: iOS app often stuck waiting for permission it didn’t request

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

My chat with Claude Code on the iOS app (latest version of both) often gets stuck because Claude Code on the terminal is waiting for a permission, but the iOS app does not prompt me for it.

When this happens, pressing the stop button on the iOS app doesn’t have any effect, and the subsequent messages sent are not replied to until the permission is granted (usually by going to the computer and granting it)

What Should Happen?

The iOS app should always show permission prompts. Ideally, Claude Code in remote-control mode should set some kind of internal timeout on these and re-prompt for them so the session doesn’t look stuck on the other side (iOS).
