Desktop: slash command menu does not open when input box already has text

What happens

In the Claude Code desktop app, the slash command menu does not appear when I type / after I have already typed other text in the chat input.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Claude Code desktop app.
2. Click in the chat input box.
3. Type some text, for example please run .
4. Type /.
5. No slash command menu appears.

Expected

The slash command list opens and filters as I keep typing, the same way it does when / is the first character in an empty input.

Actual

Nothing opens. The / is inserted as plain text only.

Notes

• With an empty input box, typing / first works correctly.
• This worked in an earlier version.

Environment

• Claude Code 2.1.236
• Desktop app on macOS 26.6.2
