[BUG] Claude Code not connecting to api.anthropic.com

• Claude CLI version: 0.2.90 (Claude Code)
• Operating System: Windows 11
• Terminal: Terminal Git Bash

Bug Description

I have been unable to connect to api.anthropic.com

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to any directory in WSL as first command
2. Type in "claude" to open the Claude CLI from the directory
3. See message imaged below that shows api is unavailable. Connecting via browser also does the same.

Expected Behavior

Claude Code will open and work and connect to api.anthropic.com

Actual Behavior

Claude Code provided the message

Additional Context

I may have been consistently hitting your interpretability checks due to some testing of esoteric concepts that are part of the research I'm doing :D
