Claude in Chrome: Japanese job-board domains (job.mynavi.jp, tenshoku.mynavi.jp) blocked with 'Navigation to this domain is not allowed' — likely category misclassification
Description
Using the Claude in Chrome integration from Claude Code (mcp__claude-in-chrome__navigate), navigation to the following domains fails with Navigation to this domain is not allowed:
https://job.mynavi.jp/(Mynavi — one of the largest job boards in Japan, new-graduate recruiting)https://tenshoku.mynavi.jp/(Mynavi Tenshoku — mid-career recruiting)
Both are operated by Mynavi Corporation, a major Japanese HR/recruiting company. They are recruiting/job-board sites and do not fall under the documented default blocked categories (financial services, banking, investment platforms, cryptocurrency exchanges, adult content, pirated content).
Other recruiting sites (e.g. ats.rct.airwork.net, Recruit's Airwork ATS) navigate fine in the same session, so this looks like a per-domain category misclassification rather than a policy or permission issue.
Context
Legitimate use case: an employer-side HR workflow (reviewing our own company's applicant management pages). Adding the sites to the extension's approved sites does not help, consistent with reports in #58464 and #52994 that this block fires before site-level permissions.
Expected
Job-board domains should be reachable, or there should be a documented way to request recategorization.
Environment
- Claude Code on Windows 10, Claude in Chrome extension (current version as of 2026-08-31)
