  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

Claude Desktop for Windows and claude.ai currently support 11 interface
languages (English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese,
Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish LatAm/Spain). Czech (cs-CZ) is not
among them, so Czech users must use the interface in a foreign language
even though Claude itself converses in Czech fluently.

A related pain point on Windows: the built-in Chromium spellchecker is
locked to en-US (see #72247), so Czech text in the message box is entirely
underlined as misspelled, with no in-app way to switch the dictionary.

Proposed Solution

  • Add Czech (cs-CZ) to the interface language selector

(profile icon → Language) on claude.ai and in Claude Desktop

  • Let the spellchecker dictionary follow the selected UI language,

or expose it as a separate setting

Alternative Solutions

  • At minimum, expose the spellchecker language setting so Czech users

can stop the false misspelling underlines while UI localization
is pending

Priority

Medium - Would be very helpful
