Claude not connecting with Chrome Platform -BUG

The chrome extension isn't connected in Claude AI. There's no dedicated read AI connector, so there is no path to read AI.
The Claude Chrome extension is installed and enabled correctly in chrome://extensions, but it continues to show “Not Connected” and cannot connect to the current Claude/Cowork session.
Steps Already Tried
Confirmed that the Claude Chrome extension is installed.
Confirmed that the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions.
Restarted/reopened Chrome.
Attempted to connect/pair the extension multiple times.
Verified that the extension is present in the Chrome toolbar.
Expected Behavior
The Claude Chrome extension should successfully connect/pair with the active Claude/Cowork session and allow browser access.
Actual Behavior
The extension remains “Not Connected” despite being installed and enabled.
Additional Context
It appears that the extension may be enabled in Chrome but is not successfully pairing with the specific Cowork session, potentially due to a connectivity or session-pairing issue.
This may also be related to using a cloud/Cowork session from the desktop application rather than a browser-based session.
