[BUG] Claude Chrome extension not connecting to Claude Code

What's Wrong?

The Chrome extension is installed and enabled, I'm logged into claude.ai in Chrome with the same account as Claude Code, but tabs_context_mcp always returns "Browser extension is not connected."

Steps taken:

• Installed extension from claude.ai/chrome
• Logged into claude.ai in Chrome
• Restarted Chrome
• Clicked the extension icon in toolbar
• Tried switch_browser tool

The extension never connects.

What Should Happen?

It should be able to open browser
