What’s Wrong?
After Claude Desktop failed to install with AddPackage failed: AddPackage failed with HRESULT 0x80073CF6, I followed a manual cleanup (removed AppX package via Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers, deleted %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Claude_pzs8sxrjxfjjc, deleted AppRepository XML, rebooted, reinstalled from claude.ai/download). Installation succeeded, but:

1. The Cowork tab is still missing from the mode selector — only Home/Code are shown.
2. All previous Cowork session history was lost (expected, since local data was deleted during cleanup — flagging for visibility, not requesting recovery).

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Hit 0x80073CF6 during Cowork MSIX installation
2. Manually remove AppX package + local data folders per community workaround
3. Reboot and reinstall latest build from claude.ai/download
4. Cowork tab does not appear; only Chat/Code visible

Expected Behavior:
Cowork tab should appear after a clean reinstall on a supported Windows build.

Environment:

• OS: Windows 11 (please fill in build number: Settings → System → About)
• Claude Desktop version: (fill in: Settings → About)
• Subscription plan: Pro
