Preflight Checklist

  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

I originally installed Claude from the microsoft store. I noticed that cowork was not available at the top of claude. I installed claude from the exe downloaded from the anthropic website(latest version). After reinstall anytime it tries to open it get an error telling me that the app does not exist in the microsoft store. after reviewing, the app has vanished from the microsoft store.

I am also getting application errors related to API attach infrastructure.

.NET Runtime version 4.0.30319.0 - There was a failure initializing profiling API attach infrastructure. This process will not allow a profiler to attach. HRESULT: 0x80004005. Process ID (decimal): 39760. Message ID: [0x2509].

What Should Happen?

Claude desktop should open and cowork at the top should be enabled.
