I am trying to connect claude to google chrome. the extension is installed but claude cannot connect. see below. discussion with Claude trying to do this. Please advise. Thanks

That shouldn't be a problem on its own — Apple's private relay just masks your real address behind an anonymized one (jdr4...@privaterelay.appleid.com) for privacy, but it's still tied to the same underlying account. As long as you signed into the Chrome extension with that same Apple/Claude account, it should match.

Let me try connecting again to see if it's just taking a moment to register.Still not connecting. At this point it's worth doing a full restart cycle: quit Chrome completely (not just the window — actually quit the app), reopen it, check that the Claude extension icon shows you as logged in, then try again here.

If it's still not linking after that, it's likely a bug rather than a setup issue on your end — you can report it directly at github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues.

In the meantime, searching #lensaai or #reminiai directly in the TikTok/Instagram app on your phone will get you to real examples faster than waiting on the browser link anyway.

Still coming back not connected on my side, even though the extension shows as installed and logged in for you. That points to something on the connection/handshake side rather than your setup — likely a bug.

At this point I'd suggest filing it directly: github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/new?labels=bug,claude-in-chrome. Worth mentioning in the report that the extension shows connected/logged in on your end but this session still reports "not connected."

Rather than keep blocking on this, want me to just go ahead and pull some example images via a regular web search so you have something to look at now, while you sort out the extension separately?
