Claude-in-Chrome: browser downloads silently fail to reach workspace (no JS error).

Triggering a file download from a Claude-in-Chrome automated tab (via a synthetic <a download> click on a Blob URL) completes with no JavaScript error and no console error, but the file never appears in the connected Cowork/Claude Code workspace. Reproduced with files ranging from 6 bytes to 35MB, across multiple tabs (including freshly created ones) and after fully closing and reopening Chrome to reconnect the extension. Chrome's "ask where to save each file" setting is off, and there's no visible download-blocked indicator in the address bar. Workspace disk space was confirmed not to be the issue (23GB+ free). This blocks any workflow that needs to move browser-generated files (zips, exports, etc.) into the workspace.
