Claude won't load in VS code

And include these details:

Extension version: anthropic.claude-code-2.1.129-win32-x64
OS: Windows
What happens: Extension fails to activate entirely. Claude Code panel is blank. All Claude Code commands return "not found."
What you tried: Reload window, disable/re-enable, uninstall/reinstall — none fixed it.
