[Bug] Output not displayed between tool calls on Windows 10 with Claude Code
Bug Description
On a Win 10 machine running Claude Code (current) using Fable 5 when user output is expected it is generated but not sent to the screen when the text is created between tool calls. THis is a real issue that needs attention. I can't see what the model is doing when no output is presented.
Work: Your screen-output fix Outcome: Hook rewritten to text-first/wakeup-last; zero silent loop ticks since. The root cause turned out to be vendor-side: Fable bug #65620 eats composed text when thinking follows it — MA48 measured 44 hard-lost turns hive-wide in 7 days. The whole Hive now writes report text before the trailing tool call. Your "I get little output" experience was this bug, hive-wide, and it's why catch-ups like this one now come as full text blocks
