Claude in Chrome extension not connecting to session (was working, then dropped)

The Claude in Chrome extension successfully connected earlier in a Cowork session and was used to browse Etsy (navigate pages, click, take screenshots, publish listings). Partway through the same session, the connection dropped and has not reconnected since, despite:

• Extension confirmed installed and enabled (On) in chrome://extensions
• No error banner shown on the extension's page
• Site access set to "On all sites"
• Logged into claude.ai with the matching account
• Tried: toggling extension off/on, switching Chrome profiles, fully restarting Chrome

Every reconnect attempt from the Claude session since then returns: "Browser extension is not connected."
