Description

Remote Control was enabled without opt-in. Running /remote-control disconnects it for the current session, but there is no persistent setting to disable Remote Control entirely — it needs to stay off across sessions and never prompt for it again.

Expected behavior

A durable, user-controlled setting (config file or /remote-control off --permanent-style flag) that disables Remote Control entirely and prevents it from being re-enabled by default in future sessions.

Actual behavior

Remote Control appears enabled by default; disconnecting via /remote-control only affects the current session.

Environment

Claude Code CLI, Sonnet 5 model.
