Feature request: persistent voice conversations with Claude Code (no idle disconnects)

I'm an Advanced Care Paramedic who uses Claude Code as a full personal assistant — email, calendar, documents, building training simulators — and increasingly by voice from my phone while mobile.

Two things would make this maximally efficient:

1. True two-way voice conversation with Claude Code. Voice is the fastest interface when your hands are busy or you're on the move. Right now voice input works, but a natural spoken back-and-forth — like a phone call with my assistant — isn't native. For working professionals, talking is 3–4x faster than typing, and it turns dead time (driving, walking, between calls) into productive time.

2. Sessions that stay live instead of idle-disconnecting after 15–30 minutes. The context survives, but the reconnect friction discourages the quick, frequent check-ins that make an assistant genuinely useful. An always-warm session — or instant transparent reconnect — would remove that barrier entirely.

The combination — a persistent session I can simply talk to anytime — is what turns Claude Code from a tool into a real assistant. That's the efficiency unlock.
