Bug Description
Title: Feedback prompt disconnects the active Remote Control session

What happens: When the in-CLI prompt asking for feedback on how Claude is doing appears, the Remote Control session disconnects. The feedback prompt and the Remote Control connection appear to be mutually exclusive, surfacing the prompt disconnects the session rather than overlaying on it.

Expected: The feedback prompt should render without affecting connection state. Answering or dismissing it should leave Remote Control connected.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect a Remote Control session
  2. Work normally until the periodic "how is Claude doing" feedback prompt appears
  3. Remote Control disconnects at the moment the prompt is displayed

Frequency: Every time the prompt appears.

Impact: Any long-running work driven through Remote Control is interrupted at an arbitrary moment not under the user's control, requiring reconnection.

Environment:

  • Claude Code 2.1.236
  • macOS 26.3.1 (darwin)

Environment Info

  • Platform: darwin
  • Terminal: Apple_Terminal
  • Version: 2.1.236
