[BUG] Voice mode regression on Windows — disconnects immediately after latest Claude Code update

What's Wrong?

Voice mode worked correctly before the latest update but now disconnects immediately every time I attempt to use it in the Claude Code desktop app on Windows. The error message displayed is "Voice mode disconnected. You can try again."
Steps to reproduce:

Open Claude Code desktop app
Click the microphone icon to activate voice mode
Voice mode disconnects immediately with the error "Voice mode disconnected. You can try again"

What I've already ruled out:

Windows microphone permissions are enabled for the app
No changes to firewall or network settings since voice last worked
Fully restarted the app — issue persists

Expected behavior: Voice mode connects and remains active as it did before the update.
Actual behavior: Voice mode disconnects immediately on every attempt after installing the latest update.

I am currently on Claude for Windows Version 1.10628.0 (b4f860)

What Should Happen?

Voice mode should connect successfully and remain active when the microphone icon is clicked, allowing me to speak and have my input transcribed, exactly as it functioned prior to the latest update.

Error Messages/Logs

"Voice mode disconnected. You can try again."

Steps to Reproduce

Open the Claude Code desktop app on Windows
Click the microphone icon in the bottom input bar to activate voice mode
Observe that voice mode immediately disconnects with the error "Voice mode disconnected. You can try again"
Click "Try again" — same error appears every time

Note: This began occurring immediately after installing the latest Claude Code update. Voice mode was functioning correctly before the update with no changes to system configuration, microphone permissions, or network settings.
