Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing requests and this feature hasn't been requested yet
  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

I worked last night on a new feature with Claude. This morning, I wanted to do a code review with a fresh set of credits. I did a /code-review max, and Claude spun up several background modes that burned through all my credits. I added some credits to see see if Claude would continue with Sonnet instead:

But that failed. I then switched back Claude Opus and asked that way, but Claude said nothing was available.

It is very frustrating to be charged for requests and get zero benefit from it.

Proposed Solution

I would like to see a feature added that would sense we are running out of tokens (maybe 10% tokens remaining) and prompt: "Would you like a summary prompt to continue at a later time". This would bundle up markdown summary response of work done that I could use at a later time when credits are available to continue the work. Note that this should work with background tasks as well.
