[BUG] Editing a queued message containing both a shell command and prompt coerces both to be prompt.
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
When queueing messages, if one first types a shell escape (! ...), and then sends a normal prompt, and then presses up arrow to edit that prompt, the shell escape reverts to normal prompt status. Explanatory images attached.
What Should Happen?
The shell should remain a shell.
