[FEATURE Request] editing previous message

Problem Statement

It would be nice if I could edit a previous question (like in the browser). Sometimes a conversation hits a dead
end and it would be nice to go back to the last productive state.

Proposed Solution

Add message numbering to the conversation and provide an '/edit x' command to modify previous messages. This
would allow compacting the conversation after a long detour.
