What's Wrong?
Expected:
- A "Connected" GitHub plugin exposes GitHub tools to Cowork agent sessions.
- "Disconnect" disconnects (or at least changes state / re-prompts OAuth).
Actual:
- Tools never exposed to the agent despite "Connected" status.
- "Disconnect" is a no-op.

Description:
Two related behaviors:
- Customize > Plugins > Engineering > GitHub shows as connected (displays a
"Disconnect" button), but Cowork automation sessions are never handed the
GitHub MCP tools. The session reports plugin:engineering:github as
"requires authentication," and no GitHub tool (create/commit file, etc.) is
callable. Other connectors in the SAME sessions work fine (Google Drive,
Atlassian/Jira+Confluence, HubSpot, Slack).
- Clicking "Disconnect" on the GitHub plugin does nothing — no state change,
no OAuth re-prompt, no error. Cannot force a re-auth from the UI.
Repro:
- Connect GitHub via Customize > Plugins > Engineering > GitHub.
- Start a Cowork session; ask the agent to commit a file to a GitHub repo.
- Agent reports GitHub tools unavailable / auth required.
- Open Customize > Plugins > Engineering > GitHub; click "Disconnect."
