Problem Statement

Nextcloud Calendar is a common calendar solution for self-hosted users, but Cowork only offers a Google Calendar connector today. Nextcloud Calendar users have no vetted way to let Claude read events, create events, or find free time.

Proposed Solution

Add a vetted Cowork connector specifically for Nextcloud Calendar (using its CalDAV endpoint) so Claude can list calendars, read and create events, and find free time directly from a user's Nextcloud instance, similar to the Google Calendar connector.

Alternative Solutions

The only alternative would be a generic CalDAV connector (if available) or manually checking the calendar and relaying availability to Claude by hand.

Priority

Medium - Would be very helpful

Feature Category

MCP server integration

Use Case Example

I run Nextcloud with the Calendar app for my personal schedule. I'd like to ask Claude to 'find a free 30-minute slot next week in my Nextcloud calendar' or 'add this event', the same way Google Calendar-connected users can today.

Additional Context

Distinct from the generic CalDAV connector request (#81733): this is specifically about a first-class, pre-configured Nextcloud Calendar connector, similar to how Google Calendar has its own dedicated connector rather than a generic CalDAV one.
