[BUG] Chats are disappearing consistently.

What's Wrong?

I'm using the VSCode extension of Claude Code. Chats consistently disappear. I have to keep asking Claude to tell me what the chat was just to see our fucking chats again.

Side note and unrelated: I can't even give the extension a 2 star review because the thing is bugged lol... no other chat extension does this shit.

What Should Happen?

It shouldn't disappear my chats willy nilly. It happens even while I'm fken looking at the chat session, but most consistently happens when I switch between chat session tabs.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use Claude Code (VSCode extension)
2. ??? (Click on any session tab in the history dropdown; roll the dice)
3. Chats are disappeared. Not all at once, but one at a time, and randomly.

Ironic. It happened fucking just now, in a chat where I was discussing this very problem.

I only switched to this dogshit extension because my job paid for a Claude subscription. I would absolutely gleefully use a different one but the fken Claude SSO shit only works in this extension. Absolute torture. Absolute waste of money.
