[BUG] Disappearing prompts

What's Wrong?

When I enter prompts in Claude Code, they disappear. This didn't use to happen. It only happens with the specific agent I'm using to build my app. Another Claude Code agent operates as intended, with messages that persist. See for instance the attached image. I entered a prompt asking it to self-critique and come up with 5 areas for improvement, hit enter, it rendered for a moment, and then it disappeared entirely.

What Should Happen?

Claude should show the prompts I submitted, not just the answers it provides.

Steps to Reproduce

1. with this particular agent, I just need to enter a prompt. any prompt i enter does not work. I'm using the Claude desktop app. I have another agent that works as intended - submitted prompts are rendered and persist. But with this agent, prompts disappear.
