Regression: date filter (1/3/7 days) missing from sessions list when grouping by Project

Description

In the Claude Code desktop app (macOS), the sessions list used to have a date filter (1 day / 3 days / 7 days) available when sessions were grouped by Project.

After a recent update, this date filter is no longer available in the "Group by Project" view — it now only appears when grouping by State.

Expected behavior

The date filter (1 day / 3 days / 7 days) should be available regardless of the selected grouping mode — both in "Group by Project" and "Group by State".

Actual behavior

• Group by State → date filter is present ✅
• Group by Project → date filter is gone ❌

Why it matters

Grouping by Project is the primary way to navigate sessions when working across multiple projects. Without the date filter, the list becomes cluttered with old sessions and it's hard to find recent work within a project.

Environment

• Claude Code desktop app
• macOS (Darwin 25.5.0)

This worked before, so this looks like a regression rather than a missing feature.
