[BUG] Claude Desktop doesn't expose claude.ai cloud connectors to the model despite being toggled on

What's Wrong?

A cloud connector configured on claude.ai is toggled on in Desktop connector settings but the tools are not visible to the model. The same connector works correctly in Claude Code (desktop). Connector settings (desktop) show the connector is available and toggled on, despite Claude being unable to see/use it.

What Should Happen?

Claude should be able to see and use the connector tools.

Steps to Reproduce

(1) Create a cloud connector on claude.ai, (2) Enable it in Desktop settings, (3) Ask Claude to use a tool from that connector (it will have no awareness of the tools.)
