What's Wrong?

Bug Overview

When I navigate to claude.ai, or the Claude Code Desktop App, I get a warning in the top right of the window saying: "Could not load connectors directory."

Here is an image:

---

  • This happens when I visit https://claude.ai
  • This happens when I open the Claude Desktop App
  • I am running the latest version of the Claude Desktop App: Claude 1.1.4088 (7e63fd) 2026-02-23T21:25:53.000Z

What Should Happen?

Claude should load the connectors directory.

Note: I'm not _exactly_ sure what the error means.

  • "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json" exists and has no errors.
  • "C:\Users\futur\AppData\Roaming\Claude\config.json" exists, and looks fine to me.
