[Billing BUG] Max 20x paid but account provisioned as 5x

What's Wrong?

Please note that this is an account/billing entitlement bug needing a backend fix, not a Claude Code CLI issue. But I have not been able to get any help from Fin or even get some human to look at the problem. Just trying another shot here.

I upgraded from Max 5x to Max 20x and was charged the prorated amount, but my account is still provisioned as Max 5x. Usage limits have not increased, and the UI still shows the "upgrade to $200" option as if I never upgraded.

Billing side is correct — the receipt explicitly lists "Max plan - 20x" and credits unused 5x time. But the entitlement never applied.

I do NOT use the Anthropic API. Please do not look at any associated API organization — this is a claude.ai subscription provisioning issue only.

I have already gone through Fin AI support twice and it was unable to escalate to the human billing team:

This is time-sensitive: Fable 5 access on this plan ends July 19, 2026, so I am effectively locked out of what I paid for during the window it applies to.

What Should Happen?

On successful payment for Max 20x, my account should be provisioned to Max 20x immediately, with usage limits reflecting 20x and the upgrade prompt no longer showing.

Steps to Reproduce

1. On Max 5x, upgrade to Max 20x via Settings > Billing
2. Payment processes (with delay from bank side); receipt shows Max 20x with prorated credit
3. Settings > Usage still shows "5x more usage than Pro"
4. Upgrade-to-$200 option still appears
5. Tried: logout/login, full cache clear, different browser, incognito — no change
